Agri Spray Drones was founded with the farmer in mind. We are a full-service drone sales firm focused on helping producers and landowners utilize unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in liquid and granular application. We empower rural North America by bringing our tools to the hands of farmers and land managers. We are searching for a Drone Support Specialist to help maintain our growing customer fleet of EAVision spraying drones at our Airdrie, Alberta shop.
Job Duties
As a Drone Support Specialist, your primary focus will be repairing, testing, and maintaining our customers' EAVision spraying drones while managing the parts and support process behind each repair, including shipping parts out to customers and repair locations on a per-order basis. You will also serve as a technical resource for customers, troubleshooting issues by phone and email and supporting the sales team with product demonstrations.
- Learn and maintain an understanding of DJI Agras and EAVision spraying drone platforms
- Repair and troubleshoot drones being used by our customers
- Provide live troubleshooting via phone and email for customers needing technical support
- Complete analysis and diagnostics on drones received into our repair shop
- Accurately complete drone repairs in a timely fashion
- Manage parts inventory and shipments, including shipping parts to customers and other locations
- Work with EAVision support to troubleshoot and warranty components on drones
- Assist in the sales process by performing demonstrations for prospective customers
- Maintain an organized workspace
Experience & Qualifications
- Transport Canada RPAS Pilot Certificate (Advanced Operations), or the ability to obtain certification
- Has built and operated one of the following: multi-rotor drones, RC aircraft, RC cars/trucks
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly describe technical processes
- Self-motivated and accountable
- Agriculture knowledge and experience required
